John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died on July 4, 1826.
John Tyler had 15 children, more than any other president.
Ulysses S. Grant smoked 20 cigars a day! He died of lung cancer in 1885.
President James A. Garfield was ambidextrous. AND he could write Latin with one hand and Greek with the other at the same time.
President Herbert Hoover’s son had two pet alligators, which were occasionally permitted to run loose throughout the White House.
The “S” in President Harry S. Truman’s full name doesn’t stand for anything.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower holds a spot in the World Golf Hall of Fame in the Lifetime Achievement Category.
During his senior year of high school at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass., President George W. Bush was captain of the cheerleading team.
