Good morning!
We’re celebrating our new collection of braided jute rugs with a series of blog posts about rugs and country decorating ideas. (Read the first post in this series, Hey jute!)
Today’s pattern is Russet. It’s made up of golden beige, russet (dark reddish-orange) and just a hint of black, which opens up a lot of fun decorating ideas. (Another post on decorating with black, Basic black: 5 things that go with (almost) everything!)
When you have just a hint of black like in the Russet braided rugs, think about other black accents you can use to pull them all together, like cabinet and door handles, and hooks and hangers.
And black chairs and light fixtures in a country kitchen would really bring out the black accents in a braided rug!
Some other fun, black accent pieces:
(Wilmont black wood floor lamp, split heart forged iron curtain hook, black star glass jar, black mantle clock, black star tin canisters.)
What do you think of a black chalkboard wall in a kitchen?
Check out the rest of our new braided jute rug line: Cider Barn, Russet, Timber Trail, Harvest, Coffee, Kingston, Kiliminjaro, Aberdeen, Mustard Seed, Vancouver, and Allentown.
See our entire line of braided rugs and door mats.
Our next post in this series will feature Timber Trail, and we’ll share some cabin and rustic home decor ideas!
And take advantage of introductory pricing until June 1!
